1876 - Alexander Graham Bell makes the first successful telephone call by saying "Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you."
Wow! The telephone has come a long way. We now have cellular phones that have GPS, the ability to surf the Internet, take pictures, play music & videos/movies. Just imagine that. I'm sure Alexander Bell didn't envision that ages ago.
Also Chuck Norris was born in 1940 on this date, as well as Sharon Stone (1958) and Osama Bin Laden (1957).
