Anderson "The Spider" Silva has been touted as GOAT (Greatest of All Time). There is a lot of hype over Chris Weidman, All-American wrestler, 8-0 record, finishing many of his fights in the first round. Even Roger Gracie, one of the best in the world, said that Weidman can submit him.

Besides the highly anticipated matchup between Silva and Weidman, I'm looking forward to Muñoz vs Boetsch. Expect fireworks in that one. Like both fighters, hate to see either one lose. Only the fans win in that one.

Expect Silva to win, but rooting for Weidman. I'm not the sharpest knife in the bunch, but I think the mark of a truly great champion is one who can overcome adversity and recover from a loss. Some may argue that to be GOAT, you just have to keep winning, but in my daft way, I want Weidman to win, so that it can bring Silva back to Earth and help him improve and go to the next level. Maybe its like no Yeah, yeah, I hear you, he already is at a lofty level. It seems he's complacent with the clowning/toying of/with his opponents. He knows no fear. I think his game can improve if a challenger truly puts a little fear into him. Therefore rooting for Weidman to win. But Weidman is an exciting prospect to keep your eyes out for, win or lose. I like Silva but call me an idiot, this fight rooting for Weidman.

Also rooting for Edgar and Leben. Who are you picking?

Good luck to all the fighters!
