IN MEMORY OF: Chris Kyle (April 8, 1974 – February 2, 2013)

Chris Kyle, author of his autobiography, American Sniper, was the deadliest American sniper to date and served America as a Navy SEAL. He was shot and killed 2/2/13. Thank you for your service.

Christopher Scott "Chris" Kyle (April 8, 1974 – February 2, 2013) was a United States Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in American military history, with 160 confirmed kills (out of 255 claimed kills), although these statistics have not been released by the Pentagon. He was shot and killed on February 2, 2013, in Texas.

Kyle and a companion, Chad Littlefield, were shot and killed on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range in Erath County, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at the Dallas Cowboys stadium Feb 11. Kyle will be buried in Austin with a processional on US-67 at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
